In addition to our ongoing open studio programming, the Indefinite Arts Centre is pleased to unveil a series of innovative projects that aim to advance the artistic practice of each of our nearly 300 artists living with disabilities who access our program every week.

Lantern Building Workshop | August 7, 14, 21
We are excited to have our summer student Victoria Robertson lead a series of workshops through the month of August that focus on lantern building. These works will soon be on display in the Indefinite Arts Centre “Art Box” space.

City of Calgary Public Art/Utility Box Mentorship Program | August to October 2018
Twelve of our artists will be working alongside Andy Tarrant, a prominent local artist, to paint a number of utility boxes in the southeast communities of Fairview and Acadia. Stay tuned for a public unveiling event, tentatively planned for October 3, 2018.

Leighton Art Centre Residency | September 2018
30+ artists have been selected to participate in our first ever external residency program in partnership with the Leighton Art Centre, funded by the Rozsa Foundation. Completed works will be on display at Leighton Centre January 12, 2019.
